The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) today launched the “Rahhal” platform at the Indian High School, Oud Metha premises. It is the first initiative to be launched under the Dubai 10X project. Taking a step into the future of education, Rahhal will allow students to enjoy greater learning opportunities - anywhere and anytime. Rahhal provides an alternative approach to education through a framework that can be customised to the needs of each specific learner.
Dr. Abdulla Al Karam, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director-General of KHDA; Khalfan Juma Belhoul, CEO of Dubai Future Foundation; Amer Abdulraoof, Director, Dubai10X; Mr. Sunil Umrao Singh, Hon. Chairman, IHS along with Dr. Ashok Kumar, CEO, IHS were present at the event. The launch event also witnessed the signing of the first Rahhal-enabled contracts between the school and parents.
IHS is chosen to exclusively pilot run the esteemed and innovative Rahhal project. The school will also incorporate custom-made programmes to suit the needs of the students enrolled under Rahhal.
