IHS Organized the First Ever Kabaddi League in the UAE on 8th and 9th February

The Indian High School (IHS), organized the first ever Kabaddi League under the patronage of Consul General of India (CGI) and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA). The sports league was played on 8th and 9th February at IHS Oud Metha premises.

The League saw some frisky action with H.E. Vipul, the Consul General of India (UAE) and Dr. Abdulla Al Karam, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General (KHDA) heading their respective teams for the friendly match. The KHDA won the inter-government match by defeating the CGI team with a huge point difference.

A total of 8 schools participated with their efficient and energetic teams for the Kabaddi Cup. There was also a round of entertaining matches between the parents’ team and IHS staff team. The Millennium School won the final match by defeating India International School, Sharjah.
