In its continual effort to ‘go for IT’ and ICT enabled Teaching & Learning, IHS has introduced eLearning tools and mechanisms for KG2 to Grade 8.

The enormous educational value of eLearning lies in its interactive, activity-based, audio-visual format that appeals to the different learning styles of each individual style. Both the content and methodology of eLearning will help to develop the creative and critical thinking skills of learners.

eLearning Software:

A specially designed software, customized to the IHS syllabus, enables students’ exposure to a whole new learning experience.  Every year, the schools subscribes to this facility for Maths and English;  the content is being upgraded regularly.

Internet Resources:

The school has invested on teachers’ time to find the best of Internet resources to be used for classroom Teaching Learning and build a repository of the same.

Smart Classrooms:

To complement the above, all classrooms of KG2 to Grade 8 are equipped with the following ICT equipment:

• Computer & Projector

• 3M Interactive Board

• High-end fibre Optic backbone cabling & CAT6 Networking cabling for good bandwidth

• Multiple Internet broadband lines for Internet access from Classrooms

Teachers’ Training to equip them to use ICT and eLearning:

A dedicated facility has been created to train teachers and facilitate effective integration of technology into the Teaching Learning process.

Britannica Online:

At Indian High School, Britannica Online is an indispensible educational tool for Independent learning, RBL (Resource Based Learning), SCAIL (Skill-based Curriculum) and School Projects.

Individual logins given to students enable easy and convenient access from anywhere, anytime.

Online Tests:

Online Test (a part of Formative assessment) is administered based on the school’s Question Bank, to give students an exposure to Online tests.
