GRADE-WISE

Grades 5 to 8

Half-Yearly Exam (Term 1) will be conducted from September 19th till 30th. This exam will allow students to monitor and improve their learning, with the help of teacher’s feedback. They will measure & analyze students mid-year achievement to improve teaching and learning.

Grade 7 & 8 (Girls)

Inter-House Quiz competition will be held on September 17th. Students will be quizzed on various topics. It will be an opportunity for them to look beyond their textual knowledge.

Grade 9 & 10

Periodic Test 2 will be conducted from September 19th to 30th. The purpose of this test is to assess students’ learning to provide ongoing feedback. It will help them evaluate the understanding of the concepts learnt. It will also help to monitor and improve their learning with effective teacher feedback.

Grade 11 (Boys)

Com Factor will be organised on September 24th. This activity aims to give opportunity for students to participate in commerce events, apply classroom knowledge with real life situations, enhance learning through quiz, develop learning through collaborative efforts and explore the creativity of the learners.

Salesmanship Field Trip will be organised on September 25th. Students will be taken on a field trip as part of their curriculum. It will help them gain practical knowledge on the various functions of the organization such as marketing, distribution, selling techniques and strategies.

Grade 11 & 12 (Boys)

Sciscape will be held on September 18th. This activity will be an opportunity for students to showcase their innovative and creative ideas in various segments like quiz, exhibition of working models, spin the wheel, movie making on science inventions and systems useful for people of determination.

CAREER CENTRE

Special Presentations of American University Rome (Italy), Franklin University (USA), Webster Geneva (Switzerland), Webster Lieden (Netherlands) and Richmond The American International University London (UK) will be conducted on September 16th for grade 12. The objective this presentation is to give orientation to students about their programs offer, admission requirements, application process, fee structure and deadline of application.

Workshop on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Robotics will be held on September 18th for grade 12 Science with Computer Science. This workshop will provide students with comprehensive information about artificial intelligence, machine learning and robotics.

Workshop on Virtual Reality & Mobile Game Development will be held on September 19th for grade 12 Science with Computer Science. Through this workshop, students will be provided with hands-on learning experience virtual reality and mobile game development.

Special Presentations of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (USA) will be conducted on September 22nd, University of Queensland (Australia) on September 23rd, University of Cincinnati (USA) on September 24th and University of Westminster (UK) on September 25th for grade 12. The purpose is to give orientation to students about their programs offer, admission requirements, application process, fee structure and deadline of application.

Workshop on Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) will be held on September 29th for grade 12 Science with Biology. During this workshop, students will get hands-on learning experience on the life-saving technique used in medical emergencies such as heart attack or cardiac arrest.

COUNSELLING CENTRE

A Talk for Students on the topic titled ‘Adding value to your profile’ will be conducted on September 16th for grade 9 boys. This talk aims to help students understand how to make a good profile and ways to add value to it.

A Talk for Students on the topic titled ‘Positive Personality’ will be conducted on September 17th for grade 7 girls. This talk will help students understand positive personality traits and learn how to develop them.

LEARNING CENTRE

Talk for Parent will be held on September 27th for grades 5 to 7 parents whose ward is receiving learning support. The objective of this talk is to provide parents with teaching strategies in Literacy and Numeracy in order to support their wards at home. Interactive discussion and hands-on activities will be included.
