Grade 5 & 6 (Boys)
Science Exhibition will be conducted on September 19th. The objective of this exhibition for students is to improve their skills of innovation and scientific thinking.
Grade 7 & 8 (Girls)
Science Exhibition will be conducted on September 17th. This exhibition will be an opportunity for students to display their scientific talents and stimulate greater interest in scientific investigations.
A Visit to Etihad Museum will be organised on September 20th. Through this visit, students will be provided an opportunity to explore the rich heritage of the UAE. It will also help them understand the journey of the founders of UAE.
A Visit to a Mosque will be organised on September 24th (tentative date). The purpose of this visit for students is to help them have a better understanding about a mosque.
Grade 7 & 8 (Boys)
A Special Assembly titled ‘Environment Day Celebration’ will be conducted on September 17th. Students will recognize and respect different species of environment. It will also help them learn about the medicinal value of few plants. One plant will be adopted by the section.
Talents Day will be held on September 18th. This day will help to enhance and encourage the creative side of the students. It will be an opportunity for them to perform on stage to showcase their talent.
Quiz Competition will be conducted on September 18th. Students will participate in a house-wise quiz competition. It will help to enhance their inquisitiveness and make them aware of surroundings.
Grade 9 & 10 (Girls)
Hindi Divas will be celebrated on September 16th. This program aim to instill in students the love and respect for the official language of India.
Thematic Assembly titled ‘International Peace Day’ will be held on September 19th. Through this assembly, students will get an opportunity to celebrate universal brotherhood and world peace. Aerobics will also be included.
The Knowledge Fiesta activity will be organised on September 24th. This activity will help to demonstrate awareness of the globe, scientific and mathematical skills among students. It will help them in applying the skills of innovation in daily life. The globe in a glance, working modals exhibition and the math maze will be included.
French Assembly will be held on September 26th. The objective of this assembly for students is to demonstrate the effective communication skills in French.
Grade 9 & 10 (Boys)
Hindi Diwas will be celebrated on September 16th. The Hindi department will conduct a cultural programme like skit, dance, poetry recitation and more. It will help to promote and propagate the Hindi language among students.
World Gratitude Day will be held on September 19th. Through this day, students will recognize each year as a day to show appreciation for all things, big and small. The Art department will conduct an Interclass chart making competition.
International Day of Peace will be celebrated on September 26th. This day is devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations & people. The Art department will conduct an interclass poster making competition for grade 9 and a collage making competition for grade 10.
Grade 11 (Boys)
Math Workshop will be held on September 23rd. The objective of this workshop for students is to sharpen their math skills. It will also help to improve special concepts, provide extended mathematical problem solving skills and cater to real life application and cross curricular links.
Salesmanship Field Trip will be organised on September 24th. As a part of the curriculum, students will be taken on a field trip to get a first-hand experience to observe the salesman, understand the process of selling and how they sell & handle customers which will help to do a project on the same as a part of their practical studies.
Elocution competitions will be conducted from September 16th to 19th for grades 5 to 12 respectively. These competitions will help students to improve their knowledge of the topic. It will also help them in improving their ability to speak in front of the audience.
Arabic Spelling competition will be conducted on September 19th for grade 5 & 6. This competition will help students to improve their spelling and vocabulary skills.
A Visit to Al Farooq Mosque, Al Wasl, Dubai will be organised on September 24th. Through this educational visit, students will learn about Islamic architecture and the basic aspects of Islam which is the religion of the citizens of the UAE.
Poster Making competition on the topics ‘History, Culture & Heritage’ for grade 7 and ‘The Year of Zayed’ for grade 8 will be conducted September 25th. The purpose of this competition is to bring out the artistic talent in the students.
Special Presentations of University of Nottingham (UK) & University of Waterloo (Canada) will be held on September 16th, King’s College London (UK) will be held on September 19th, State University of New York Plattsburgh (USA) will be held on September 20th, Royal College of Surgeons Ireland (RCSI) Bahrain will be held on September 24th and University of Westminster (UK) will be held on September 25th for grade 12. To give orientation to students about their programs offer, admission requirements, application process, fee structure and deadline of application.
A College Visit to Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management (UAE) will be organised on September 23rd for grade 12 Commerce & Humanities. This visit is intended for the students to get knowledge about the academy’s program offer and admission process. It will also be an opportunity for them to have a tour on their facilities and experience the campus life.
USA Universities Fair will be conducted on September 30th for grade 12. Through this fair, students will meet college representatives. They will be informed about the universities programs offer, admission requirements, application process, fee structure and deadline of application.
CPD Program on E-Learning – “Destination Success” and “Use of Interactive White Boards” will be conducted from September 16th till 27th (tentative dates) for teachers respectively. This program will help teachers to understand all collaborative tools needed. It will also help to determine their level and effectiveness in using the interactive white boards.
Our students will participate in the CBSE (UAE) Cluster Sports Competition 2018. Following are the sport / game details: - Judo will be held on September 25th at Springdales School, Dubai, Chess will be held on September 26th & 27th at Sharjah Indian School, Sharjah and Basketball will be held from September 30th onwards at Delhi Private School, Dubai.
