Grade 5 & 6 (Girls)
Teachers Day will be celebrated on September 5th. This day will be an opportunity for students to show their love and respect towards their teachers. It will also help them understand the love & affection of their teachers and increase the bond between the students & teachers.
Grade 5 & 6 (Boys)
Teachers Day will be held on September 5th. Through this day, students will be engaged in card making competition. It will be an opportunity for them to appreciate the dedication of their teachers and to develop their innovation, creativity and writing skills.
Art Competition will be conducted from September 12th to 16th. The purpose of this competition is to develop imagination, creativity and innovation among students.
Grade 7 & 8 (Girls)
Teachers Day will be celebrated on September 5th. This day will be conducted by the Student Council members of the section to show their appreciation towards their teachers.
Visits to the Mosque will be organised on September 9th & 11th. These visits will enable students to understand better the importance of the mosque and know its architecture.
Grade 7 & 8 (Boys)
Talent’s Day will be held on September 11th. This day aim to provide students an opportunity to exhibit their artistic & musical talents and thereby improve self-confidence. They will showcase their talents on stage through singing, dancing, playing instruments and on the spot sketching.
Grade 9 & 10 (Girls)
Teacher’s Day program will be held on September 4th. Through assembly, students will honor teachers and their contributions towards moulding future citizens. It will help to encourage the teaching fraternity to continue to respond to the needs of the society.
Thematic Assembly titled ‘Festivals of India’ will be conducted on September 12th. The purpose of this assembly for students is to depict the cultural diversity of India and promote cultural exchange of views & celebrations.
Grade 9 & 10 (Boys)
Teachers Day will be celebrated on September 5th. During this day, students will highlight the contributions of the teaching profession. They will celebrate this day as a mark of tribute to the contribution made by teachers to the society and also the birth anniversary of a great teacher Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Special assembly, card making competition by Social Science & MP team and cards & flowers for teachers will also be included.
Grade 11 (Boys)
Class Magazine Release will be organised on September 6th. This activity will help students to enhance their extended writing in the form of articles, reports poems, short stories, advertisements facts, tips and more.
Grade 11 & 12 (Boys)
Teachers’ Day Celebration will be held on September 5th. During this day, students will celebrate to show their appreciation and gratitude for their teachers.
Eco-Forum will be conducted on September 12th. This program aim to enhance and enrich learning economics among students through collaborative activities.
Round Square Regional Conference with the theme ‘Explore, Experience, Empower' will be held from September 12th to 15th at Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Mumbai for students’ members from 16 years and above. It aims to provide a platform for the delegates to step out of their comfort zone and go on a journey of self-discovery. They will be engaged in activities that will help them explore their own potential through theatre, art workshops, Barraza and service opportunities. It will also help to enhance their social and leadership skills.
Student Talks on the topics ‘Social Intelligence’ for grade 5 will be conducted on September 2nd, ‘Media Smart’ for grade 8 on September 3rd, ‘Exam Ready’ for grade 10 on September 4th, ‘Managing & Handling Pressure’ for grade 9 girls on September 4th & for grade 9 boys on September 12th, ‘Anger Management’ for grade 6 boys on September 5th & for grade 6 girls on September 9th and ‘Communication with Parents’ for grade 7 on September 10th. These talks will help grade 5 students to enhance their social skills, grade 8 students to be aware of cyber laws & identify distractors, grade 10 students to learn a toolkit for upcoming exams with awareness of distractors, grade 9 students to identify & be aware of the challenges and how to cope with them, grade 6 to identify triggers & manage anger appropriately and grade 7 to develop better skills to communicate with their parents.
Aptitude Assessments will be held during this month for grade 10. This test aim to determine the aptitude of students, to help them in stream selection and to establish their career goals. It will be an online test during school hours assessed by an agency from India.
A Parent Talk on the topic ‘Literacy and Numeracy Skills’ will be conducted on September 14th for grade 5 parents whose ward is receiving LC support. Through this talk, parents will be trained to help their wards to solve word problems and work on comprehension questions.
Workshop on Art, Music & Dance Therapy and Play Therapy will be held on September 1st for selected Counsellors. This workshop is a further training for in house counsellors as part of continuous professional development initiatives.
CPD Program on E-Learning – “Destination Success” and “Use of Interactive White Boards” will be conducted from September 6th till 13th for teachers respectively. This program will help teachers to understand all collaborative tools needed. It will also help to determine their level and effectiveness in using the interactive white boards.
